Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for an apartment community in Gainesville, FL. You will lead a maintenance team, perform hands-on repairs, manage service requests, and ensure safety and code compliance while coordinating with the Property Manager and outside contractors.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience, EPA Type II certification, and a willingness to reside within 30 miles of the property. CPO is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience; multifamily preferred.
• EPA Type II certification required; CPO preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and supervise associates and contractors.
• Manage service requests, schedule, and daily follow-ups.
• Perform hands-on maintenance 60–70% of the time.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program and safety compliance.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and curb appeal daily.
• Assist Property Manager with customer service standards.
• Direct vendors during turns and prepare vacant units.
• Ensure key control and budget adherence.
