Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus and ensure quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior cooking experience, ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions, and physical stamina. Certification such as ServSafe or Food Handler is required by state law; residency in the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook or food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
