Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility.

You will follow planned menus, ensure quality, safety, and presentation, and assist with inventory and supply orders.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift 50 pounds, and ServSafe/food handler certification where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact with residents, staff, and guests to provide excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
