Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents in a safe, sanitary manner in accordance with Public Health Regulations and the Sanitation Code.
• Be familiar with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS).
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and uphold safe work habits and proper handwashing techniques.
• Serve attractive, nutritious meals in a pleasant, respectful manner, mindful of residents' needs and rights.
• Follow cleaning procedures and operate equipment safely; assist with stock handling and dining room setup daily.
