Job summary

Viva Senior Living is seeking a server to prepare and serve nutritious meals to our residents in a safe, sanitary manner in accordance with Public Health Regulations.

You will follow HACCP guidelines, maintain a clean environment, and ensure meals are served respectfully, with attention to residents' needs and rights. Must have a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain the highest standards in caring and servicing residents and their families.
• Must adhere to attendance policies and to the Employee Handbook.
• Must work well with peers in a congenial environment with compassion and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents in a safe, sanitary manner.
• Be familiar with HACCP and WHMIS requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and proper hygiene.
• Serve meals in a pleasant, respectful manner, mindful of residents' needs.
• Follow cleaning procedures and assist with dining room setup and cleanup.
• Report any policy infractions and assist during emergencies.
