Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods.
• May need to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety.
• Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies.
