Job summary

EverTrue seeks a dedicated Certified Medication Technician to provide medication administration and daily resident care under nursing supervision. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident autonomy and dignity, documenting care and monitoring for adverse effects.

Requirements include CMT certification, CPR/First Aid, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to person-centered care. Some PA locations may require the DHS course.

Qualifications

• Current CMT certification in the state of practice
• High-school diploma or GED
• If working in Pennsylvania: Successful completion of Personal Care DHS Medication Administration Course
• CPR certification and first aid training
• Prior experience with direct care preferred-Basic computer skills
• A desire to be part of the "Person Centered Care" team

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers medication to residents under nursing supervision.
• Documents medication administration in the resident's record.
• Observes residents for side effects and drug interactions.
• Provides medical and physical care to meet daily needs.
• Respects residents’ privacy and follows HIPAA.
• Supports residents in daily activities and decision making.
• Assists with meals and feeding when needed.
• Fosters meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed personnel.
• Reports changes to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Follows safety procedures and policy guidelines.
• Records vital signs and maintenance of EHR.
