Job summary

EverTrue seeks a dedicated Certified Medication Technician to provide safe medication administration and resident-centered care under nursing oversight. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to support daily living activities, monitor residents for side effects, document vital signs, and help maintain dignity and independence for each resident.

The role emphasizes accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with nursing leadership to update care plans.

Qualifications

• Current CMT certification in the state of practice.
• High-school diploma or GED.
• If working in Pennsylvania: Successful completion of Personal Care DHS Medication Administration Course.
• CPR certification and first aid training.
• Prior experience with direct care preferred—Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers medication to residents under nursing supervision and documents accordingly.
• Observes residents for side effects, interactions and implications of medicines.
• Provides medical and physical care to meet daily needs.
• Assists residents with personal care and supports independence where possible.
• Identifies changing needs and reports to nursing staff.
• Participates in resident care/service plans to improve life quality.
• Assists with mealtimes and feeds residents needing full assistance.
• Builds relationships with residents and families.
• Supports resident involvement in daily activities and decision making.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed personnel.
