Job summary

EverTrue is hiring a Certified Medication Technician to administer medications and provide routine daily care to residents under nursing supervision. The role emphasizes person-centered care, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and maintaining resident dignity and safety.

Responsibilities include documenting vitals, supporting care plans, assisting with meals, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Strong communication and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CMT certification in the state of practice.
• High-school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification and first aid training.
• Prior experience with direct care preferred.
• Desire to be part of the Person Centered Care team.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication to residents under nursing supervision and documents actions.
• Provides basic medical and personal care to residents as needed.
• Assists residents with personal care while promoting independence.
• Observes changes and reports to nursing staff promptly.
• Participates in the resident's care/service plan to enhance wellbeing.
• Assists with meals for residents needing full support.
• Builds meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Supports resident involvement in daily activities and choices.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed personnel.
• Respects privacy and HIPAA; knocks before entering.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards to staff.
• Documents vital signs and health data in EHR.
• Responds to incoming calls.
• May serve as administrator designee when needed.
