Job summary

Vitality is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Specialist to support residents with daily activities and simple treatments in accordance with individual service plans. You will assist with emotional health needs, monitor resident well-being, and collaborate with the care team to ensure dignity and choice in daily living.

The role requires adherence to policies, participation in onboarding and ongoing training, and active communication with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state health-related requirements.
• Maintain any required certifications as per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with simple treatments as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with emotional health and/or behavioral issues as indicated in service plans.
• Perform other services for residents as indicated in service plans (e.g., laundry and pet care).
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN or Medication Tech/Aid.
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings as requested.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.
