Job summary

Vitality is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Specialist to support residents with daily activities and basic treatments as outlined in individualized service plans. You will help address emotional health and behavior, assist with routine tasks like laundry and pet care, and participate in ongoing onboarding and training to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with simple treatments as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans.
• Perform other services for residents (e.g., laundry and pet care).
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.
