Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Resident Tech to provide personal care and related services to clients in Public Subsidized Housing Facilities. The role requires CPR and First Aid certification, and the ability to follow care plans and physician orders.

Strong communication, reading, spelling, and basic math are essential, as are basic computer skills. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, transfers, meal preparation, toileting, medication assistance for self-administered

Qualifications

• CPR and Basic First Aid certification required.
• Pre-employment physical including TB screening or chest X-ray as per policy.
• Must be able to communicate, read, write, spell accurately and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and ability to use client equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, hair care, skin care, etc.).
• Assist with transfers in and out of bed and ambulation.
• Assist with meal preparation and eating, including therapeutic diets.
• Assist with toileting, bedpans or urinals.
• Assist clients with self-administered medications and record administration.
• Take vital signs as instructed and report changes to supervisor.
• Document care notes and participate in case conferences and staff meetings.
