Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Care Assistant to provide supportive and functional care to residents in accordance with established care procedures. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to maintain the resident as the director of their own care.

The role involves assisting with daily living activities, observing and recording vital signs, and ensuring timely responses to resident requests. Pennsylvania staff may serve as administrator designee when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous resident care experience preferred.
• In PA, diploma or PA nurse aide registry required.
• Ability to read simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information to individuals or small groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Provide care per training standards and policies.
• Maintain a safe resident care environment and respond to requests promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to nursing leadership.
• Observe and document vital signs and care changes; communicate with the team.
• Escort residents to dining and activities as needed.
• Document observations and assist in care planning.
• Act as resident advocate and participate in care planning discussions.
