EverTrue is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate resident care within the scope of practice. You will work with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized plans and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will perform IV therapy, administer medications, document care, and monitor residents using the EMR. This role emphasizes safety, rounds, and collaboration with staff to maintain high-quality clinical care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited/approved nursing school.
• BSN preferred.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Specialized training or experience in gerontological nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practices nursing care within licensure scope and follows Nurse Practice Act; maintains active license and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to define individualized plans of care and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mixes TPNs, initiates IV therapy for infusions, accesses/de-accesses ports, and performs IV pushes as permitted.
• Administers medications and oversees medication ordering and administration; monitors IV fluids and nourishments.
• Maintains documentation and care plans, and participates in MDS processes as applicable.
• Utilizes electronic medical records for clinical documentation according to policy.
• Observes resident status, coordinates with services to ensure continuity of care, and documents progress.
• Ensures safe environment and applies safety practices to maintain optimum conditions.
• Oversees certified staff to provide EverTrue standards of care.
• Conducts rounds and documents resident progress and condition changes.
• Supports investigations and reporting per state and federal regulations.
