EverTrue in the United States is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide supportive and functional care to residents, assisting with daily living activities and maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team, follow clinical policies, and document observations while advocating for residents. In Pennsylvania, eligibility for administrator designee duties may apply, with applicable training and supervision.

Qualifikationen

• Previous resident/patient care experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations.
• Basic computer skills, limited to retrieving data and data entry.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must have patience and be willing and able to demonstrate professional behavior in interactions with difficult situations or individuals, including residents and resident families.

Aufgaben

• Supports residents in attaining and/or maintaining their highest practicable level of functioning by providing and/or assisting residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Provides care and services in accordance with current standards of practice as defined by training standards and EverTrue policies.
• Maintains the appropriate resident care environment and responds to resident requests for assistance promptly.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or incidents to nursing leadership.
• Performs resident observations and record keeping; acts as resident advocate and communicates changes to the nursing leader.
• May assist and escort residents to dining and activities; monitor dining room during meals.
• May document residents’ vital signs including BP, temperature, respiration, weight, etc.
• In PA, may serve as administrator designee in absence of Personal Care Administrator; escalate as needed.
