Job summary

Vitality Living Group is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Specialist to assist residents with daily activities and follow service plans that promote dignity and choice.

You will help with simple treatments, monitor emotional health, perform duties such as laundry and pet care, and participate in onboarding and ongoing training.

Strong English communication, eligibility to meet health requirements, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with simple treatments as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with emotional health and/or behavioral issues as indicated in service plans.
• Perform other services for residents (e.g., laundry and pet care).
• Observe and report resident problems to supervisor (LPN on duty or Medication Tech/Aid).
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings; adhere to policies and procedures.
