Job summary

Cariad at North Brook is seeking compassionate caregivers to enhance the SRIM experience by providing attentive daily living assistance to residents and their families. You will support residents with ADLs, meals, light housekeeping, and laundry while promoting independence and dignity.

You will interact with residents at all levels of care with empathy, report changes to supervision, participate in activities, maintain a clean, safe environment, and follow HIPAA and policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Serve and assist residents in dining rooms at meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health or wellbeing to supervisor.
• Engage residents in leisure activities per the activity calendar.
• Maintain dignity, respect, and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Ensure residents sign out when leaving the community if applicable.
