Qualifikationen

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations with residents, families, and staff.
• Follows policies and procedures; maintains privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience; prior care experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene.
• Assist in dining room serving and meal service to residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment; perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Observe and report changes in resident health or wellbeing to supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and communicate in a language residents understand.
