Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–2 years related experience.
• Medicine Technician (Med-Tech) certification.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and word processing software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises self-administration of medication for residents.
• Assists with ADLs, meals, housekeeping and laundry.
• Interacts with residents with empathy, kindness, compassion, and respect.
• Observes and reports changes in health and well-being to supervisor.
• Provides dining assistance and assists with activities per the activity calendar.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
• Responds promptly to resident requests for assistance and communicates in understandable language.
• Ensures residents/signs out when leaving the community.
• Supports a dignified, caring atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and staff.
