Job summary

PACS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with assessment and care plans. You will work under Nurse Supervisors, deliver patient care, and maintain safety and comfort in the unit.

Responsibilities include greeting residents, assisting with daily activities, documenting care, following infection control and reporting changes, and upholding resident rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CNA license in the state.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read and follow care plans.
• Ability to document accurately and clearly.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information; report disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily activities and mobility as trained.
• Greet residents and escort them to rooms; introduce to roommates and staff.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures for exposure to blood/body fluids.
• Observe and report pressure areas or skin breakdowns.
