Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC in Astoria, OR is seeking a Resident Services Assistant to provide personal care, housekeeping, meal services, and social activities under the supervision of the Health Services Director.

You will assist with ADLs, help with mobility, monitor resident status, and ensure a safe, home-like environment while following infection control procedures.

This role requires English communication, teamwork with staff, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Adequate and clear English speaking and writing ability; able to communicate effectively.
• Willingness to adhere to assisted living principles in providing services.
• Maintains acceptable attendance and follows work schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; 35 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home-like environment.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift and reviews assignments with supervisor.
• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living (ADL) and mobility assistance.
• Provides meals service and housekeeping for Residents and assists with housekeeping tasks.
• Demonstrates knowledge of infection control procedures and safety rules.
• Records Resident information and communicates status changes to nurses or designees.
• Assists with orientation of new staff and supports resident social-recreational activities.
• Notifies nurse of Resident status changes and performs other duties as assigned.
