Job summary

Volare Health in Eugene, Oregon seeks an experienced LPN to join as Unit Manager, supervising nursing staff and directing daily unit operations to ensure high quality care for residents. This full-time position offers a pay range of $81,348.00 - $114,774 with competitive benefits.

As Unit Manager you will oversee adherence to federal, state, and local standards, mentor clinical staff, and collaborate with administration to guide the unit’s ongoing development and resident care excellence.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
• Knowledge of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long term care.
• Previous experience in a hospital, long term care facility, or other health care related facility required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily functions of the Nursing Unit in accordance with current standards to ensure high quality care for residents.
• Oversee nursing staff, coordinate care plans, and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing and administration to maintain safe and effective operations.

Summary

The Unit Manager will direct the daily functions of the Nursing Unit in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing long term care facilities, and as may be directed by the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents.
