Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group in Casper, WY is seeking a Resident Care Manager (RCM) to oversee the administration of total care for residents and supervise Licensed Nurses and CNAs.

The role administers medications, monitors residents, updates care plans, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations. A nursing degree and current RN or LPN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Knowledge of nursing process related to geriatric residents, long-term care, and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Oversees proper administration of total care to residents and supervises Licensed Nurses and CNAs.
• Obtains and administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Takes vital signs and monitors resident conditions, notifying supervisors and families as needed.
• Administers disciplinary action for nursing staff non-compliance with regulations and policies.
• Modifies care plans and ADL flow sheets in response to resident changes.

Job Summary

Shepherd of the Valley Rehabilitation and Wellness is currently looking for a Resident Care Manager (RCM) to oversee the proper administration of total care to our residents. Provides general nursing care to residents, and oversee the work of the Licensed Nurses and CNAs in our facility.

Essential Functions

• Obtains and administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Observes resident, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor, family, (responsible party) and physician of resident's change in condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Takes vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of resident.
• Administers appropriate disciplinary action for nursing staff non-compliance with state and federal regulations and Center policies.
• Modifies resident care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Aide flow sheets in conjunction with resident changes in condition

Education, Licensure, and Experience

• Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Required: Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing process, particularly as it relates to geriatric residents, long-term care, and rehabilitation.
