Job summary

Worland Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Resident Care Manager (RCM) to oversee the proper administration of total care to residents. You will supervise Licensed Nurses and CNAs, administer medications, observe residents, and report changes to the supervisor and physician.

The role requires nursing licensure (RN or LPN) and a solid understanding of geriatric and long-term care processes. Join our team in Worland, WY for a community-focused healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current LPN or RN licensure in Wyoming.
• Knowledge of nursing process, geriatric care, and long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of total care to residents and supervise licensed nurses and CNAs.
• Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing techniques.
• Observe residents, record conditions, and notify supervisor, family and physician of changes.
• Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess residents’ condition.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.

Job Summary:

Worland Health and Rehabilitation is currently looking for a Resident Care Manager (RCM) to oversee the proper administration of total care to our residents. Provides general nursing care to residents, and oversee the work of the Licensed Nurses and CNAs in our facility.

Essential Functions:

• Obtains and administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Observes resident, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor, family, (responsible party) and physician of resident's change in condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Takes vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of resident.
• Administers appropriate disciplinary action for nursing staff non-compliance with state and federal regulations and Center policies.
• Modifies resident care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Aide flow sheets in conjunction with resident changes in condition

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

• Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Required: Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing process, particularly as it relates to geriatric residents, long-term care, and rehabilitation.
