Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group is seeking a Resident Care Manager Nurse (RCM) for Enumclaw Health and Rehabilitation Center to oversee total resident care and supervise Licensed Nurses and CNAs.

You will administer medications, monitor conditions, document changes, and communicate with families and physicians about resident status and treatment effects.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Knowledge of nursing process, especially for geriatric residents, long-term care, and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Observes resident, records conditions, and notifies supervisor, family, and physician of changes.
• Takes vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess resident condition.
• Administers disciplinary action for nursing staff non-compliance with regulations and Center policies.
• Modifies resident care plan and ADL/Aide flow sheets in line with resident changes.

Job Summary:

Enumclaw Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently looking for aResident Care Manager Nurse (RCM)to oversee the proper administration of total care to our residents. Provides general nursing care to residents, and oversee the work of the Licensed Nurses and CNAs in our facility.

Essential Functions:

• Obtains and administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.

• Observes resident, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor, family, (responsible party) and physician of resident's change in condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.

• Takes vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of resident.

• Administers appropriate disciplinary action for nursing staff non-compliance with state and federal regulations and Center policies.

• Modifies resident care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Aide flow sheets in conjunction with resident changes in condition

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

• Required:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• Required:Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of employment.

• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing process, particularly as it relates to geriatric residents, long-term care, and rehabilitation.
