Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. in Hastings, Nebraska is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. You will support the RCC Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure the highest quality of care is maintained.

You will assist with admissions/discharges, daily hygiene, and routine nursing tasks, while maintaining resident confidentiality and safety. Eligibility for shifts beyond standard hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license (LPN) in good standing with the State.
• Must have basic computer skills; must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours, weekends and holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with current standards and regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and family information.
• Assist in admission and discharge of residents and daily hygiene care.
• Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, and wound care as required.
• Complete and file required medical records and charting with clear, descriptive notes.

Education
