Job summary

Midwest Health is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents in our community. You will perform tasks per federal, state, and local standards and report changes to the Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities include admission/discharge support, daily hygiene, catheters and dressings, charting, and ensuring confidentiality and safety at all times. LPN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid LPN license in good standing.
• Basic computer skills and English literacy.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to assist in evacuation and heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per standards and regulations.
• Assist in admission/discharge and daily resident hygiene.
• Administer procedures such as catheterization and dressing changes.
• Document care and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and safety.
