Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living at Farnham is seeking an Assistant Resident Care Director to support the Resident Care Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating the department to ensure quality care. Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved school of practical nursing or current active state certification in medication administration.
• At least one year of successful nursing experience, preferably.
• Experience in geriatric, psychiatric, or rehabilitation nursing.
• Certified in CPR and first aid.
• Demonstrates leadership and sound nursing judgement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain liaison with residents, families, and support departments to plan for resident care needs.
• Ensure provision of services to residents and monitor compliance with Federal and State policies.
• Deliver direct resident care and supervise direct care staff.
• Administer and document medication per physician orders and company policy.
• Complete resident care assessments and individualized care plans.
