Commonwealth Senior Living in Virginia Beach, VA seeks an Assistant Resident Care Director to assist the Resident Care Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating the Resident Care department. You will provide direct resident care, supervise care staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while modeling CSL core values.

The role requires nursing certification, CPR, and a compassionate approach to caring for cognitively impaired elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved school of practical nursing.
• Active state certification in medication administration.
• At least one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with medication administration in geriatric/psychiatric/rehabilitation nursing.
• CPR and first aid certification.
• Leadership and clinical judgment demonstrated.

Responsabilités

• Plan and evaluate the Resident Care department with the RCD.
• Provide direct resident care under the RCD.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory nursing requirements.
• Supervise direct care associates and manage staffing per budget.
• Ensure resident rights and safety; coordinate with other departments.
