Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living in Virginia is seeking an Assistant Resident Care Director (ARCD) who will assist the Resident Care Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating the Resident Care department to ensure high-quality care and resident experience. You will apply the nursing process and provide direct resident care under supervision, embodying CSL’s core values.

The ARCD role requires a State-approved LPN license, at least one year of nursing experience, and CPR/first aid

Qualifications

• State-approved LPN license required.
• At least one year of nursing experience preferably.
• Experience in administration of medication and geriatric, psychiatric or rehabilitation nursing.
• CPR and first aid certification.
• Demonstrates leadership skills and sound nursing judgement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate the Resident Care department to ensure high-quality care and resident experience.
• Deliver direct resident care under the supervision of the Resident Care Director.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and budget compliance.
• Administer and document medications per physician orders.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State policies governing resident care.
