Job summary

The Alden Network in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking a Habilitation Aide to implement program services and assist residents with personal hygiene and ADL skills. You will train and coach residents using individualized plans to promote independence and well-being.

Responsibilities include following policies, reporting concerns, and supporting daily routines, mobility, and communication. CPR is required or completed within 90 days, with a focus on teamwork and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Requires high school education or equivalent.
• Must have CNA course and competency exam, or DSP training and registry.
• CPR certification or completion within 90 days of employment.
• Must read, write and speak English clearly.
• Ability to work in a team with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Render care per individual plan and organizational requirements.
• Train/coaching residents in dressing, self-care, and communication.
• Assist with daily activities and ADL skills.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and welfare of residents.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in duties as assigned.
• Provide input into client objectives and monitor progress.
