Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Hospitality Aide to perform non-direct care tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse, such as passing ice, trays, and assisting with meal setup to support resident well-being.

You will help with bed making, organizing personal items, and ensuring dining areas are clean and stocked. This role emphasizes friendly service, safety, and adherence to Life Care standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification must be obtained upon hire or during orientation and remain current.

Responsibilities

• Pass ice, water, and distribute snacks to residents and clean nourishment refrigerator(s) and cart(s).
• Assist with passing and retrieval of meal trays to cognizant residents and assist with cleaning of dining areas after meals.
• Make unoccupied beds and change bed linens.
• Organize residents' drawers and closets and label all personal items.
• Organize shower rooms and clean utility rooms as well as ensure adequate inventory.
• Provide 1:1 attention to cognitively impaired residents.
• Deliver residents' mail.
• Transport wheelchair bound residents to and from rooms.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
