Job summary

Life Care facilities in Las Vegas are seeking a Hospitality Aide to assist with non-direct care tasks under licensed nurse supervision, such as passing ice, delivering trays, and basic in-room service to residents who can feed themselves.

You will also help with bed making, dining area cleanliness, organizing drawers and closets, and providing 1:1 attention to cognitively impaired residents while maintaining safety, confidentiality, and a positive, professional demeanor from shift to shift.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required upon hire or during orientation.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.
• Familiarity with post-acute care facility standards and Life Care policies.

Responsibilities

• Pass ice, water, and distribute snacks to residents.
• Assist with passing and retrieval of meal trays and dining area cleaning.
• Make unoccupied beds and change bed linens.
• Organize residents' drawers and closets and label items.
• Provide 1:1 attention to cognitively impaired residents.
• Respond to call lights promptly and maintain a positive attitude.
• Transport wheelchair-bound residents to and from rooms.
• Assist in evacuation of patients.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Lift 35 lbs and manage daily physical tasks.
