Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a compassionate Hospitality Aide to assist with non-direct care tasks such as passing ice, distributing meals, and maintaining dining areas under licensed nurse supervision.

You will help with bed making, organizing personal items, delivering mail, transporting residents when needed, and ensuring a safe, clean environment while upholding Life Care standards and resident rights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
• CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Pass ice, water, and distribute snacks to residents and clean nourishment areas.
• Assist with passing and retrieval of meal trays and cleaning of dining areas.
• Make unoccupied beds and change bed linens.
• Organize residents' drawers and closets and label all personal items.
• Organize shower rooms and clean utility rooms and ensure adequate inventory.
• Provide 1:1 attention to cognitively impaired residents.
• Deliver residents' mail.
• Transport wheelchair bound residents to and from rooms.
• Respond to call lights promptly and maintain patient safety.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Contribute to evacuation procedures when needed.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Lift 35 lbs floor to waist, 35 lbs waist to shoulder, 35 lbs to carry, and push/pull 35 lbs.
