Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking a Resident Care Director (RN) to serve as the clinical leader within a senior living community, overseeing health, wellness, and care coordination to deliver safe, resident-centered services.

The ideal candidate will bring clinical nursing management expertise, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of regulatory standards to foster team performance and ensure high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Experience leading nursing teams in senior care.
• Knowledge of federal/state nursing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with physicians and clinical partners on health changes.
• Oversee medication management and infection control initiatives.

• Manage staffing, scheduling, and departmental budgets.
• Partner with Sales to evaluate move-in suitability.

The Resident Care Director (RCD) acts as the clinical leader within a senior living community, responsible for overseeing health, wellness, and care coordination to deliver safe, high-quality, resident-centered services.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leading and managing the nursing team and care programs
• Conducting resident assessments and developing Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
• Monitoring resident health changes and coordinating with physicians and clinical partners
• Overseeing medication management and infection control initiatives
• Driving Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts

• Recruiting, training, and managing clinical staff performance
