Sunrise Senior Living in Morris Plains, NJ, is seeking a Resident Care Director (RN) to lead the nursing team, oversee clinical programs, and ensure high-quality resident care. You will conduct resident assessments, manage ISP processes, and coordinate with physicians and clinical partners to maintain optimal health outcomes.

The role requires active RN licensure and strong leadership in infection control, QAPI, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license.
• Experience leading nursing teams in senior living or healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of infection control and CLIA requirements.
• Proven ability to drive QAPI initiatives and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs.
• Conduct resident assessments and oversee ISP development and updates.
• Monitor condition changes and coordinate with physicians and clinical partners.
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs.
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable.
• Drive QA/QI initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage performance of clinical staff.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and department budget.
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and nursing regulations


• Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical team members


• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget


• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness

Pay Range:

93,808.00 - 129,584.00
