Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Director (RN) to lead the clinical team and elevate resident health and wellness. The role emphasizes managing care programs, conducting assessments, and coordinating with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The position focuses on staffing, budgeting, and performance management within a senior living environment, with opportunities to collaborate with sales on move-ins and advance clinical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs
• Conduct resident assessments and oversee Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
• Monitor changes in condition and coordinate with physicians and clinical partners
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable
• Drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and nursing regulations
• Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical team members
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness
