Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to bridge residents, families, and the care team, promoting a safe, supportive living environment. You will assist the Health and Wellness Director with scheduling, supervise staff, and help ensure quality assisted living services across resident care areas.

Responsibilities include assigning shifts, supervising staff, coordinating with home health agencies, managing care plans and records, and supporting medication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid state medication administration license (such as CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP) or meet state requirements for medication administration in assisted living.
• An LPN/LVN nursing license is a plus.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign caregiving and medication technician shifts to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with staffing guidelines.
• Participate in the recruitment and interview process for new care team members.
• Supervise, train, and support care team members, promoting teamwork and adherence to care standards.
• Supervise the medication room and orders, collaborating with medication technicians and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, including care plans and medical documentation.
• Coordinate care planning with home health agencies on-site and with policies.
