Cogir Senior Living in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to bridge residents, families, and the care team, ensuring a supportive, safe living environment. You will assist in scheduling, supervise staff, and ensure systems deliver quality assisted living services across resident care areas.

The role requires experience in medication administration, supervisory responsibilities, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medication administration and professional caregiving experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience, including staff scheduling.
• Excellent attention to detail and integrity.
• Excellent communication and teamwork mindset.
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign caregiving and medication technician shifts.
• Participate in recruitment and interview process for new care team members.
• Supervise, train, and support care team members; promote teamwork and adherence to standards.
• Supervise the medication room and orders; collaborate with caregivers and technicians.
• Maintain up-to-date resident records, care plans, and medical documentation.
• Coordinate on-site care planning with home health agencies and internal policies.
• Coordinate admissions with the sales team and supervise move-ins.
• Conduct family/resident admission interviews.
• Facilitate communication among residents, families, and healthcare providers.
• Address residents' special needs, requests, and complaints.
• Assist with medication administration and provide direct resident care as needed.
• Understand community care regulations and state-specific rules.
