Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to serve as a liaison between residents, families, and the care team, supporting the Health and Wellness Director and ensuring quality assisted living services. You will schedule staff, supervise care teams, and assist with medication administration as needed.

The role requires 2+ years of medication administration experience and 1+ year of supervisory experience, with a focus on compassionate, resident-centered care in a senior living

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state medication administration license or meet state requirements.
• LPN/LVN license is a plus.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• At least 2 years of experience administering medications.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign caregiving and medication technician shifts to ensure coverage.
• Participate in recruitment and interview process for new care team members.
• Supervise, train, and support care team members, promoting teamwork and care standards.
• Supervise the medication room and orders, coordinating with medication technicians and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate resident records, including care plans and medical documentation.
• Coordinate care planning with home health agencies on-site and with policies.
