Hcshiring is hiring for a scheduling-focused role in a healthcare facility located in Aiken, SC. The position involves managing scheduling databases, caregiver assignments, and responding to family and visitor concerns.

Qualified candidates will have a BA in a healthcare field or be a qualified assessor, along with strong MS Office skills and nursing knowledge. A team-friendly, positive work environment is offered with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Address family and visitor concerns or complaints and document actions.
• Oversee minor facility issues and report to Maintenance Director.
• Lock/unlock doors per shift and supervise caregiver assignments.
• Monitor caregiver performance for policy compliance and resident care.
• Report caregiver issues and contribute to performance evaluations.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• BA in Healthcare related field - preferred
• Qualified Assessor - preferred
• Knowledge and experience processing in Schedulingdatabases.
• Working Knowledge of computers, including Excel,Word, and MS Office
• Knowledge of nursing specialties, opportunities, and qualifications
• Must possess sensitivity in understandingemployees’ needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing/schedulingrequirements are met for the facility.
• Ability to represent the facility in a positiveand professional manner.
• Must be able to work effectively in an individualor team setting.
• Must be able to perform duties andresponsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonableaccommodation.

Essential Functions:

• Deals appropriately with a family member andvisitor concerns or complaints, documenting the issues and actions takenthrough the appropriate reporting mechanism
• Manages minor physical plant issues that ariseduring assigned shifts, reporting as necessary to Maintenance Director andAdministrator
• Locks outside doors (p.m. shift); unlocksoutside doors (a.m. shift)
• Makes Caregiver shift assignments and ensuresthat assigned duties are completed in a satisfactory manner
• Monitors the performance of caregivers forcompliance with established policies and procedures, and to ensure quality residentcare
• Reports Caregiver performance issues to HSD orAdministrator and provides input for Caregiver performance evaluations
