Job summary

Midwest Health Inc is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to effectively manage resident services in our La Vista community, aligning with policies and regulations to ensure quality care. This role reports to the Executive Director and collaborates with physicians, pharmacy, and families.

The position requires a valid LPN or RN license, CPR certification, computer literacy, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license (LPN or RN) in good standing.
• Must have a valid CPR certification.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours including weekends/holidays.
• Must be able to assist in evacuation of residents in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and administer resident services according to policies and regulations.
• Comply with the Community’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations regarding nursing care.
• Assist residents with admission and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with physicians and pharmacy as required.
• Maintain communication with families regarding agreements.
• Participate in staff selection, orientation, and supervision.
