Job summary

Spring Creek Village in Spring, Texas, is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to manage medications and provide direct care for residents in a memory care assisted living setting.

You will train RMAs and RAs, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with the Director of Resident Care to ensure safe staffing and responsive resident support. High school diploma and 1–2 years in senior living preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a senior living community.
• Delegated by a Registered Nurse for medication administration.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage medications as prescribed, monitor resident responses, and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Orient and train new RMAs and RAs through hands-on mentoring.
• Maintain accurate resident records, documenting medication distribution, health changes, and incidents in compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with the Director of Resident Care for staffing needs, assist in recruitment, and support teamwork among staff.
• Follow procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.
• Ensure the medicine supply room and medication area are organized and compliant with regulations.
• Assist with staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage per state regulations.
• Conduct medication audits, ensure timely refills, and maintain inventory.
• Facilitate training for new staff on medication administration and facility policies.
• Document shift reports and ensure effective communication during shift changes.

Location: Spring Creek Village, an Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr.

Full Time

Primary Responsibilities
