Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation while following safety standards and dietary requirements.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork with staff, and adherence to sanitation policies. A high school diploma and food handler certifications help applicants meet requirements; residency in the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous cook/food preparation experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Positive attitude and ability to communicate with residents, staff, and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies apply.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods.
• May need to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state/county law.
• Residency within service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
