Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. Join us if you are passionate about enhancing the customer and resident experience!

The ideal candidate will ensure food quality, adhere to safety guidelines, and maintain a positive attitude while interacting with residents and staff. Previous cooking experience is preferred, and compliance with safety certifications is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must perform routine tasks continuously.
• Must work around food and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
