Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will contribute to quality dining experiences and uphold HCSG's standards.

Starting pay is USD 15.00 per hour. This role requires adherence to safety, sanitation, and dietary guidelines, with opportunities for hands-on training and career development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants, staff, and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• May complete an approved sanitation and safety course.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
