Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help maintain high food quality, safety, and presentation while supporting a compassionate dining experience for residents.

This on-site role offers hands-on training, opportunities for career development, and a supportive team. Pay ranges from USD 13.00 to 16.00 per hour, with benefits like telemedicine, prescription discounts, and employee assistance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by State/County law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
