Job summary

Midwest Health in Wichita, Kansas seeks a dedicated Resident Care Coordinator to lead resident services in accordance with policies, standards, and regulations, reporting to the Executive Director.

The role requires licensure (LPN/RN), CPR certification, strong computer skills, and the ability to work evenings/weekends; you will supervise staff, coordinate admissions, and liaise with families and physicians while ensuring regulatory compliance and protecting resident rights.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license (LPN or RN) and be in good standing with the state.
• Must have a valid CPR certification.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage resident services in line with policies and regulations.
• Report abuse/neglect to the Executive Director promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Assist with admissions and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Coordinate with families and physicians; communicate about agreements and care.
