Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring care quality and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate services, participate in surveys, and update care plans while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. The role requires leadership during shifts, adherence to policies, and collaboration with physicians and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license (RN) in good standing.
• Must have a valid CPR certification.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other departments and shifts.
• Participate in facility surveys and update resident care plans as required.
• Maintain accurate and descriptive nursing notes and reports.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed.
• Monitor and report staffing needs and conduct rounds to oversee care quality.
