Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under a licensed nurse. You will follow established policies, maintain confidentiality, and support admission, meals, mobility, and daily activities for residents in our Kansas facility.

You will report changes to the Charge Nurse, document care, assist with transfers, and help with activities and social programs while ensuring safety and dignity for each resident.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA certification in good standing with the State.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to provide compassionate resident care and adhere to policies.

Responsibilities

• Comply with facility policies and nursing department procedures.
• Maintain resident dignity and confidentiality.
• Assist with admission, meals, mobility, bathing, grooming, and daily activities.
• Record and report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Support transport to appointments and activities, and assist with transfers.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Ensure safety through proper lifting techniques and gait belt use.
